at MT. Haryono Global Sport Balikpapan there is tertiary drainage. Every time the rain comes with a large enough intensity, the water in the channel overflows into the road. Therefore, it is necessary to re-analyze the existing drainage network system to accommodate runoff discharge. This research aims to identify the condition of the drainage channel and evaluate the highway drainage network system to accommodate runoff discharge, and find out the dimensions that are appropriate for the area. The method in this study is to analyze data using a rational formula. From the results of this study, the flood discharge plan (Qr) is obtained using a rational formula with a return period of 10 years. from the calculation of Qr> Qs that the existing dimensions are insufficient so there is a need for re-drainage. Dimensions that can be used in an area of 1m wide by 3m with a height of 1,707m and for a sewer is used a width of 1,2m and a height of 1,707m, dimensions that can be used in area 2 are 3.5m wide and 1,908m high,and the dimensions used in the area 3 by using a 3,5m wide box curvert channel with a height of 1,908m.
